Shark: A 400 Million Year Journey was an interesting book to read. I absolutely love sharks, so I found that it expanded some of my knowledge on sharks, but it's meant for a younger audience and that is true because although it has information, it's not as in-depth as a full-length book would be. I also feel that it would be a great book for the target audience.

The artwork is absolutely beautiful, and the color choices were also great - there were colored pages and then black and white pages that I really think evoke the emotion that the author is aiming for during those scenes.

I would recommend this book if you are interested in the overview history of sharks or if you want to enlighten a child to more about sharks because it's short and would hold the attention of a younger audience. This makes the book a very quick read.
