Tour + Review and Giveaway: Genesis by Brendan Reichs

35425574Genesis by Brendan Reichs

Noah Livingston knows he is destined to survive.

The 64 members of Fire Lake's sophomore class are trapped in a place where morals have no meaning, and zero rules apply. But Noah's deaths have trained him--hardened him--to lead the strongest into the future . . . whatever that may be. And at any cost.

Min Wilder knows that survival alone isn't enough.

Trapped in a violent world where brute force passes for leadership, it's tempting to lay back and let everyone else fight it out. But Min's instincts rebel against allowing others to decide who lives and who dies. She's ready to fight for what she believes in. And against whomever might stand in her way.

4 stars

Genesis by Brendan Reichs was as amazing as the first book, Nemesis. Genesis picks up right where the first book had left off, jumping right into the story and hooking you from page one. This is a fast-paced novel, that has very few slower moments in the story, and it is a quick read for one this long. The book will have you on a rollercoaster as your emotions are all over the place through the book.

The characters have changed since the first book, you can definitely see their personal growth from the first book, and also throughout this book. I felt that you get to know more about the characters other than Min and Noah in this story, definitely more than I felt in the first book.

The ending was fantastic, and satisfying, although it left me with questions that I need answers for, and the desire to want to read more. I highly recommend picking this book up if you are a fan of YA dystopian.
